*Hello! Our opening day for our organically grown seedling transplants is this Friday and Saturday, May 8th and 9th. Please see the list of what we plan to have available below!
As a reminder, the sale is open to everyone, and if you have a CSA Market Share, you may use your card to purchase seedlings and plants if desired.

* We are diligently planting between the rains, and are grateful to say: all the onions, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, kohlrabi, early sweet corn, artichokes, beets, Swiss chard, kale, collards, and early potatoes are happily in the healthy organic soil, soaking up this rain.
If you’re looking for potatoes to plant, we will have Gold Satina seed potatoes available during the seedling sale.

* The garlic, which you can see growing behind the store, looks great and is actually loving this weather.

* My kids, grandkids, and a great crew of co-working friends have been busy in the fields and greenhouses together to make this all possible.

You can see from the pictures we are training the next generation of enthusiastic farmers from a young age! I also have fantastic sons and daughters in law helping with everything from planting to putting a new electric line in between the shop and the chicken building so our chick brooders are warm and cozy.

* We are harvesting really early crops now from the biggest greenhouse which include radishes, pakchoi, lettuce heads, Swiss chard, and spinach. You will find these in limited quantities in the farm store fridge!

* From the outdoor organic fields we are harvesting loads of green young garlic (like green onions but it is a mild garlic) and from our organic woods we are picking wild ramps, which are a delicacy.

* Asparagus is still coming soon. It did not like the cold frosty weather recently.

* Blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries are looking really good so far.
